For the most part, the backlash is fairly articulate, but it carefully avoids the fact that many Americans are not educated, especially with respect to history, and are comfortable with their biases, not needing to hear from anyone else.

I don't feel I know enough about how CRT is being taught to render judgment. But my reaction to most of your backlashers is "thou doth protest too much."
