I grew up (a very long time ago) surfing in LA. There were assholes then too (though not nearly as many). It was a great place to grow up, and we could go anywhere in the city safely. Now, I don't even visit. When I need the ocean, I go to San Diego.

And by the way, I'm glad you found your way to County Line since the other beaches you mentioned all suck. That's why no one was there.
