I have never known or heard of an abuser (of women or children) who stopped after one time. So abusers get no innocent-until-proven-guilty presumption from me out of court. And in court, the rules of evidence often keep the jury from hearing the abuser's other instances of abuse. This is one of those areas where the judicial system has failed miserably.
