I spent some time in NSA also, from 75 to 83, inn LA. I relate to most of what you said. I was just out of law school, getting divorced. I moved up the ladder like you and had to fight off the spiritually-ambitious women. I did my time in the ymd. i left for probably the same reason: the rigidity of the organization. I have to admit that I don't have the same sour memories that you have. NSA served me at that time of my life. And I still love Daimoku, which I do now and then. And I met some good people and had some good times. (Friends with Herbie and Tina and Wayne.) I've been in a number of cults before and since, and NSA was probably the least damaging. (Certainly not as damaging as law school and the Bar.) Where are you practicing?
