Increasingly, I have a hard time spending any substantial time in the company of men. (Who knows what that makes me in their eyes?) I don't know whether my advanced age and long successful marriage explains this, or if the overt expressions of misogyny have increased. (To my eyes, it is the latter.) Trump and his minions have not helped.

The baffling phenomenon for me is the existence of so many women fervently supporting our rapist, mysogynist ex-president. The explanation you give is accurate, of course, but I still don't understand. Didn't these women raise children? My wife would never allow me to go out in the world and express the sort of idiocy we hear all the time.

In betrayal of my gender, I have more than once expressed and explained in writing my belief that things will not change on this planet until women are running things. Look at the world men have created.
