On a related subject . . . more than one of my children were molested. One badly for a too long period of time. By the time I found out, the molester and his mother had moved somewhere. Nevertheless, I tried to get redress, primarily from the county sheriffs. Over and again, they told me in various ways there was nothing they could do. I believe the sheriffs were as much the problem as the molester.
