One of the good effects of the Terrible Trump years for me was that I saw I couldn't do anything about or even stand looking at the cruelty around us, so I decided life was a matter of coming to terms with and enjoying life where I am. We are not well off and my health sucks, but I love my life anyway. As for all the voices around me, I'll let them talk for a little while, and then I wander off.
