When I was younger, I was usually the one considered to be the "smart" one in the group. In the end, that title gained me nothing, and simply served to separate me from people. But as I aged, and had time to reflect on all my mistakes , I came to realize I knew nothing about the things that mattered most and had accomplished very little of any consequence. Life is so much simpler now.
