You naysayers piss me off because none of you will express the truth. You all want to talk about policies and "likeability" and intelligence, but your unspoken complaint is that Harris is black and, more importantly, a woman. She has already proven that she is more intelligent, successful and even likeable than most or all of you (and me). But you don't want to take direction from this black woman anymore than you would a black man or woman at your work. Some part of you recognizes that Harris represents a threat to you, not because of her policies but because she represents (far more than Hillary) the feminine point of view. You know, those qualities that your wife brings to the marriage because you can't . . . compassion, patience, holistic thinking, appreciation for the little things, sensitivity to energies rather than words, ability to walk in another's shoes. Many of you see those as petty things, not to be taken seriously. But look at the Mitch McConnell world we have created . . . greed, war, child abuse, bullying. I expect President Harris will annoy you in the same way your wife does: changing her mind about issues, caring about other children as much as her own, giving people second chances, taking risks that we would never take. That scares you, but I welcome it.
